Good afternoon, my dear friends and the honorable judges.
I’m very glad to be here and give you my speech. I hope we all can enjoy the time. Now, today my topic is: “A Small Truth to Make Life100%”.
As a young English teacher, I have to face different kinds of students and deal with trivial things every day. Life goes on, but sometimes it’s becoming frustrating and I feel very tired. How to make my life become better? I’m always seeking for the answer. Fortunately, when I read a magazine one day, I found the truth to make my life100%. Today I would like to share it with you.
Now, my dear friends, let’s do an interesting test together and then you will find the secret by yourself! As we all know, there are26alphabets in English, A to Z. Against them we have the numbers1% to26%. If A is equal to1%, and B to2%, and so on, until Z is equal to26%, then can you guess what can make our life100%? That is to say, what can make our life perfect?
Some of you may suggest “Money”. However, after calculating, you’ll find it only comes to72%. Now try a few more. Knowledge? Yes, knowledge is power! But this time it only comes to96%. How about love? That only shows at54%. Luck does even worse, only at47%. Though most of us think this is the most important.
Then what makes100%? Hard Work? Closer,98%. But not exact. Now, what on earth can make life100%? Well, every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our attitude. Yes! Only ATTITUDE comes out at100%.
Many of the gifts we have been given have been distributed unfairly. We all wish we had the ability of the talented, the money of the rich, and the luck of the beautiful. But none of these matter. There is only one thing we all have equally and can always control even in the worst situations. And that is our attitude.
Life is10% what happens to you and90% how you react to it. Therefore, attitude is the thing that shapes who you are the most.
Attitude is everything. Now, my dear friends, please give the world a sunshine smile. Change your attitude and enjoy every minute in your life.
